About

I am 40, live in London, and recently become a dad for the first time.

Baby was born as a result of a frozen embryo cycle of IVF. It was a long hard journey  involving many tears, disappointments and a few funny anecdotes often involving my little fellas. Check out the IVF blog to read the full story.

In my day job  I make telly (Celebrity Masterchef, I Predict A Riot, The Real Dirk Diggler, Touch The Truck and more).

They say you are what you eat, in which case I am a white-bread bacon sandwich.

Noticed your blog and thought you might be interested in this parenting campaign..

We’re working on a project with Dads Space, a website offering no nonsense information and advice to dads that I’m sure you will already be aware of. The website projects a positive image of fatherhood, no matter what the family circumstances. They’re looking to engage the online parenting community through an editorial blend of entertainment and serious issue-based articles, to raise awareness of key parenting themes, providing a gateway through to more specialist services.

We have a video that we can share with you – would be great to hear your feedback and if you’d like to be part of this project. Plus, enter the competition and you could win a top of the range big screen TV!

Hello. I just read your article in the Times today and I was shedding tears at the end. Tomorrow will be my first fathers’ day too and, as I read your piece, my beautiful 10 week old daughter, Rosabel, was sitting on my lap. We had ivf too and so your words were particularly resonant for me. I felt compelled to share this with you!

As a new blogger myself it is interesting to see what other Dad Bloggers are upto in Dad Blog land. Thanks for bringing a smile to my Sunday.

  6. It’s really great to see a dad opinion on raising children, so many mummy blogs out there.

  7. Seriously refreshing and honest! Love your humour
